Responsibilities
You will be responsible for carrying out an array of duties in the manufacturing department
Here are just some of the things you’ll get to do with us
- Assemble fabricated parts at floor stations
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications
- Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications
- Monitor product quality and make adjustments to the process and equipment to maintain batch specifications
- Perform basic troubleshooting and report process or equipment problems to your supervisor
- Ensure equipment log books and other computerised records are kept up to date
- Clean and maintain processing rooms and equipment
Remember this is an active role and you will be on the move for your whole shift which is usually 8 hours or more.
Qualifications
- Be mechanically minded and willing to be trained on specific engine model(s)
- Have at least one years experience working with any type of engines
- Be at least 18 years old and a US citizen.
- Have a High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Be able to lift heavy packages of over 30 lbs weight in a warehouse environment
- Be able to read and speak English for safety purposes
- Be able to pass an FAA Drug test. More information here
Bonus points
- If you have experience working in a similar aerospace manufacturing environment
- If you are a qualified mechanic who has worked with any types of engines in the past
- Knowledge of SAP is highly desirable
