We’re Hiring! Our key client is hiring and looking to add EVS Assistants to their team. Please check the description below and reach out to us for more details if you are interested.
 
Job Summary: 
Performs cleaning functions in various areas of the hospital. Maintains these areas in a clean and orderly fashion in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures and foremost to provide an environment conducive to patient recovery.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
* Requires operation of mechanical equipment such as vacuums.
* Visual acuity to detail cleanliness.
* Reasoning ability as employees must use self-judgment in changing sequence of areas cleaned to meet needs of unit or area.
* Promotes internal and external customer satisfaction.
* Builds and promotes a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.
* Attendance: works as scheduled and is compliant with Attendance and Tardiness Policy.
 
Working Conditions:
 
* Work is performed inside with good ventilation and comfortable temperatures.
* This job classification has occasional exposure to electric shock, x-ray and electromagnetic energy.
* This job classification has routine exposure to radiation hazards, biohazardous materials, noxious odors, latex and musculoskeletal injuries.
 
Qualifications:
 
* High School Diploma or GED preferred.
* Must be comfortable lifting and carrying 25 lbs. frequently, pushing or pulling greater than 100 lbs.
* Must be comfortable with frequent/prolonged walking, standing with occasional kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing and stooping.
